Gome of the Week
"The Simpsons" voices:

On strike again. Just give 'em the damn money.

This Week's Link That's Probably Not That Great
Hollywood - I don't know what this is, but if you look hard, you can find photos of the Eric Bush memorial concert.

This Week's Movie You've Probably Never Seen
Redneck Zombies (1987)

Well, it's been a while since we put a Troma film up here, so let's do this.

Rednecks, nuclear waste, zombies, what more do you need?

Kind of a let down that it's not actually directed by Lloyd Kaufman, he's just "presenting" it, but it's definitely got that Troma feel.

And by that, I mean shaky handi cam action and poor acting.

Lots of blood, though. Good stuff.

This Week's Record You're Probably Not Listening To
Billy Idol - Whiplash Smile (1986)

Ah, Billy Idol's awkward album that didn't have any hit songs on it, aside from "To Be A Lover" which had some minor radio play.

Picked this bad boy up on cassette for one dollar this week and I've been listening to the shit out of it.

Steve Stevens is in full effect.

This Week's Hip New Slang Word or Phrase
I liked it better the first time... - When it was something else but pretty much the same.

Origin - David Spade, et al.

Usage - "Dude, that yahtzee I was with last night was a total thin mizzy."

"Dude you must have been frus."

"Totally."

"Dude, she listens to Blink-182 and all those new punk-pop bands."

"Dude, I liked all those bands better the first time......when they were called NOFX."

"Dude, pass me the haterade."
