Gome of the Week
Someone gave this kid a record deal.
Armageddon is near.
This Week's Link That's Probably Not That Great
White Trash Etiquette - Some sweet satire.
This Week's Movie You've Probably Never Seen
Beyond the Law (1992)
Truly some of the finest work Charlie Sheen has ever done. If any of you have cable, you might have seen this gem before.
The mullet is prime as Charlie joins a biker gang on the undercover cop tip and gets wrapped up in crime and toot.
Michael Madsen plays the badass leader of the gang and Linda Fiorentino plays Charlie's love interest who is of course, conflicted and concerned.
One of the first scenes shows Charlie putting a gun to a huge biker (that dude who plays the huge biker in every movie) named Oatmeal.
Priceless.
This Week's Record You're Probably Not Listening To
Grandmaster Mele-Mel & Scorpio - Right Now (1997)
A couple of the boys from the Grandmaster Flash crew come back for more, but this time the old school is out and the gangsta is in.
Actually not that bad of a record as far as it goes, the beats are pretty good, especially when they reprise some of the old tunes they originated.
However, they made the garbage move of putting interview segments between every single song, which, although they are short, tends to kill the flow a bit.
This Week's Hip New Slang Word or Phrase
bandit, Reynolds style - Sometimes you gotta hit the road.
Origin - Brodie.
Usage - "Dude, that yahtzee I was with last night woke up this morning and said she had to take a NIBM."
"Dude, right arm?"
"No way dude. I was bolton like michael."
"Dude?"
"You know, bandit, Reynolds style."
