Gome of the Week
Oh, Joan and Melissa Rivers.
I know, it's a severely obvious choice, but it drives me crazy that two people who look like amphibians are allowed to rip on talented people like Bjork for wearing a swan dress.
Joan Rivers should shut her cake hole.
This Week's Link That's Probably Not That Great
The Top Ten Video Game Movies - Start with the worst and then work backwards. Thank God Double Dragon is on there.
This Week's Movie You've Probably Never Seen
Computer Beach Party (1988)
Put on your swimsuit, because it's time for Computer Beach Party.
This movie is a lot like something you would see on the USA network at the wee hours in the morning, only a tad bit crappier.
It's pretty old, and so it takes place back when people thought computers could do pretty much anything, including getting a dorky guy laid.
This film follows that premise perfectly. Dorky guy meets hot chick who's currently dating an asshole and she's instantly smitten with him and his programming skills.
Also includes some boobage and a chicken car that drives around.
This Week's Record You're Probably Not Listening To
Wang Chung - To Live and Die in LA (1985)
A fairly strange offering from one of the greatest bands of all time. Includes a few actual songs and them some weird soundtrack type compositions that might make you wanna go to sleep.
It's not as classic as "Dance Hall Days," but then again, what is?
This Week's Hip New Slang Word or Phrase
bacne - Acne on the ol' back.
Origin - Who knows, but Biff'll be happy it finally made it here.
Usage - "Dude. So you were getting it on with the coug and you wouldn't take your shirt off?"
"Dude, my bacne has really been flaring up lately."
"I hear that dude."
